Eagle Harbor Solutions is hiring a Senior .NET Developer. This is a direct, full time position with our company, working at our customer’s site in Washington DC.

Position Overview

The Senior .Net Developer will interface and communicate with the client on a day-to-day basis while managing daily activities, taking on programming tasks, reviewing customer requirements, and documenting processes and functionality. This position may also lead more junior members with assistance from the Project Manager. Additionally, they should be capable of working independently to determine client requirements, performing technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of custom web applications.

  • Personnel submitted as the Senior .NET Developers should hold a four (4) year college degree, have at least seven (7) years of overall Web Development and be able to demonstrate five (5) years of design and development experience as a lead .NET Developer.
  • Job Responsibilities / Success Factors:
  • The Senior .NET Developer will work to maintain our existing .NET technology stack which consists of 20+ separate front end and middle tier applications. The Developer will be required to design, code, and test Web APIs used to support the enterprise.
  • Desired but not required Qualifications / Certifications:
  • 4 Year college degree - 8 years work experience can be substituted for 4 year college degree

Required skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with .NET Core/.Net Framework
  • 3+ years of experience in Web API development
  • 3+ years of experience in Angular development
  • 3+ years of experience in Typescript/JavaScript
  • 5+ years of experience of using RDBMS (Oracle/MS SQL Server/Postgres)

Preferred skills and experience:

  • 3+ yrs. experience of working in an Agile environment (SCRUM/KANBAN/SAFe)
  • 1 year of experience in Azure Cloud or any type of cloud experience
  • Azure DevOps Server/Git/TFS
  • Experience in Human Resources application development
  • Powershell

Working Environment & Conditions:

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
