The intermediate level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript). Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API's (webservices). Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelor's or associates degree in area of specialty or 3-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Can perform with limited supervision, code is reviewed by team. May review junior developer’s code.

Comments: Due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, any interviews scheduled for this recruitment will be held via Skype Meetings or phone calls. Additionally, while this position will eventually require full-time on-site work at the DNR Headquarters in Madison, WI, the position will initially be virtual, with equipment being shipped to the contractor, or possibly available for pick-up if the contractor is already located in Madison. The initial contract will be for the first half of the 2021 calendar year, with an option for extension through June 2022.
